Jonathan and Stevie celebrated their wedding today at the South Shields Town Hall, with their special day featuring vintage transport, a scenic detour, and a uniquely personalised photo shoot.
The bride, Stevie, and her bridesmaid were chauffeured to the venue in a charming vintage 1976 VW Campervan. Arriving a little earlier than planned, the driver utilized the extra time to treat the bride to a short, scenic detour along the beautiful South Shields seafront before heading to the Town Hall.
Due to the late afternoon timing and the recent clock change, the ceremony and post-ceremony travel took place entirely after sunset—a unique first for the chauffeur! Despite the darkness, the celebratory atmosphere was bright, and the vintage Campervan proved incredibly popular with all the guests.
Following their vows, the newlyweds were whisked away for their photo session at a truly unconventional location: the South Shields Skatepark. This unusual choice was a nod to the groom's passion for BMX biking, offering a fun and personal backdrop for their first official photos as a married couple.
The unique photos complete, the happy couple were then driven to their reception venue at the nearby Hedworth Hall to join their friends and family for the celebrations.
The wedding's blend of vintage charm and personal flair made for a memorable night. We send our best wishes to Jonathan and Stevie!
